TTF2LFF Online Translator

BetonBrut
Hi,

I tried to use the online TTF2LFF translator at https://librecad.org/ttf2lff/index.html
I fill out the author and licence info and select the file, and click Upload.

This is displayed:
File is a TTF font - converting

followed by what looks like the command-line options for the TTF2LFF application is displayed.

I never get a link to the translated file as I suspect I should.

Please advise. Thanks!

The online font converter is still in testing phase.
Usually, the download link appear below the ttf2lff output.
It is the bold LFF filename with a download icon.

To investigate your issue please post a link to the font file and author/license information, then I can test it.

Here is the font I an trying to convert

https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Architects+Daughter

I extracted the TTF and TXT files from the zip and renamed the TTF to be all alpha and shorter. I'm not sure what is required for the license input. I entered "OFL"

Thanks!

Thanks for the information!
That made it easy to solve the issue.
The problem were whitespace character in the author and/or license fields.

This is fixed now.

The upload filename doesn't matter, it was already escaped.
The download filename is automatically converted to match the LibreCAD reqirements. Whitespace characters are removed and the filename all lower case. Otherwise LibreCAD can have issues to find the font.

You can download the LFF from my test directly:

I got it working consistently - thanks for the tips.

Single stroke TT fonts are hard to find. I had read about the issues with outline filled fonts, and after converting a few am seeing it first hand. I have an AdobeCC account, but didn't see any way to find the stroke fonts - and I doubt their license would permit conversion...

Is there any way to convert an SHX font file? I have my old ACAD fonts.
