Going with android would be a good solution to get the app on a phone for real time transfer of data collection.

Dr. Li:

I will maintain a copy of the cogo processing code with nCurses and not using nCurses.

I am going to test the program on my linux tablet.  For that NON-graphical program nCurses might make more sense.

I will use standard I/O for the code I will, eventually, plug-into LibreCAD.

Also, I now have a git 'site' where I will keep my code,  I did 'commit'? a copy of my cogo.c on the site.

I will be editing it shortly.  The version on git uses ncurses,  That will change to standard I/O..

The git 'site' is under joseph-oc/cogo

On Linux, it's easier to build from source and get packages of LibreCAD. Otherwise, you may try to download our installers:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/librecad/files/

or build from source:

I am very much interested in this project Re: Land Surveying Functionality within LibreCAD. I am a Geodetic Engineering Instructor in a university here in the Philippines. Am also a GIS/Remote sensing technologist. I would like to be a party in the development of this functionality. Is it still open for participation? Is it possible to have an access to the source codes done so far? Or do we have to strike out on our own(which, as of this moment, is what I have in mind).

I think the development of this feature is not that acitve:
"This is taking more time then I thought.  However, I am working on other projects as  well."

You can also see that joseph is not working actively on this project. For more information you can have a look at his code here: https://github.com/joseph-oc/cogo?source=c

Here is another talk about some GIS stuff
