Trim AND Extend

Bonjour,

How to extend lines in LibreCAD : I searched for a long time and found nothing

Today, I discover that Modify > Trim is able to Extend lines !

Now, I ask : why this perfect tool is named "Trim" and not "Trim/Extend" ?

If the name had been "Trim/Extend", I would have found for a long time how to extend lines in LibreCAD

Is it possible to rename this icon in "Trim/Extend" ?

Many users would appreciate to know how to extend lines in LibreCAD

wonderful software. I'm using it currently in my designs.
Probably there are some tricks that I don't know yet.
I would suggest you some improvements.

1-The trim/extent command as the colleague mentioned above.
About trim command, please do the multiple selection. I don't know but it doesn't work inside this command.

2-I experienced some troubles moving/copying text. I'm using 2.2.0 alpha.

3-The possibility to use the window zoom inside a command.

4-Multiple style dimensions.

Thank you for your interesting email.

Yes, LibreCAD is a very good tool for 2D.

I used it a lot when I was still working, but not anymore, because I only draw in 3D.

FreeCAD has recently been equipped with a TechDraw workbench which allows you to easily export 3D objects to 2D views and add all kinds of dimensions.

Bon, mon but n'est pas de faire de la publicité pour FreeCAD sur le forum LibreCAD :-/

LibreCAD est excellent et incontournable dès lors que l'on veut faire des plans sérieux en 2D.
