Unable To Make Anything Work Right

I am attempting to do a ridiculously simple drawing with LibreCad and have run into nothing but problems.  The main issue is my mouse doesn't drag the lines when I use the rectangle draw or dimension tools.  I was finally able to make a rectangle using the command line, but cannot get the rectangle tool or dimension tools to work at all.  I have viewed a number of tutorials, but none of them touch on this problem.

When I use either tool nothing happens when I click on the drawing area and drag the mouse.

Any advice you could give would be much appreciated!

If somebody just wants to do the drawing for me it's a rectangle 2.125 inches long and 1.250 inches wide with two 1/2" holes in it.  The holes are centered width wise and centered 5/8 of an inch from each end.  I know this asking a lot, but I have spent hours trying to get this to work and I'm not getting anywhere.

Don't drag with the mouse button pressed but but click on the first and then on the second diagonal point.

Thank you for your reply, but that doesn't work.  It almost seems like this might be a problem in my settings on Librecad or a problem with my browser not working well with it.

You are running LibreCAD in your browser?

You may have a problem with the snap settings. Try with Free Snap, Endpoints, Center and maybe Grid enabled.

I meant operating system.  At any rate I downloaded LibreCad on my wife's computer and it works perfectly!  Amazing how easy everything is now.  Thanks for your help!
