Hi I am a relatively new to this software but knowledge is steadily growing. I am running version 2.1.3 atm and have a few important files saved that I will need to reuse at some point.
Question, would you recommend I up date to the latest version or not? I will need it to be backward compatible for my older files. I know most software is built and tested for this. But I am asking this question as I was kind of expecting a prompt to appear when I open an new session?
I have not experienced any problems due version changes, but it is a good habit to take backups of important files, your hdd might fail, an there are so many possible threads to which backups is the only working solution.
