Visibility of SNAP symbols

ivodorr@gmail.com
Is there anyway to switch on showing of any snapping symbols like a end point, middle point, intersection, orthogonal point, cyrcle center, cyrcle quadrant or fraction of length?

I am asking because theese symbols could prevents me from miss snapping which caused me quite unpleasant mistake, which I made in one of my last drawings where the middle point of line was very close intersection with another line and I chose wrong point by accident.

Hello!

I use 2.2.0, and in there and in the previous version snaps are the bottom left, and to selected comes a grey box. If you unselet the box disappears.

So you can select any combination you want, but if you have many selected, it can be difficult to get the one you want.

well, the indication of the snap point (like intersection, middle, grid etc.) was added to 2.2.2 alpha branch, and is shown as part of the informational cursor (as well as many other things, more details are there
https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/pull/1988).

You can check this feature in snapshot release - https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/releases/tag/2.2.2_alpha-latest.

Releases there are stable enough, but under the active development - so there are the most fresh features of LibreCAD, yet not all of them are fully finalized.

Thank you for quick reply. I have checked links you have posted and it is exactly what I ment, but I was not able to test it on my own, because this release crashes on my Win10 during starting of the program.
Could you guess when will be available stable release?

well, yes, recently the build system for 2.2.2 was upgraded, and several interim releases are less stable than ones were before.

Yet we work on this, I suppose one of these days a more stable versions will occur.

Anyway, if you see that there are some crashes - please report them to https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/issues so the developers will be aware of them.
