I'm using LibreCAD on a 64 bit Windows 7 computer.
I reported a cross hair issue about a week ago, after I had upgraded to LibreCAD 1.0.0rc2.
I don't know what the status of that issue is, but I found a work-around.
I copied the 1.0.0rc1 version of LibreCAD.exe into the rc2 installation folder and the cross hair problem went away.
And an added bonus is that the Help Manual works too, whereas it had not been working for me with the rc1 installation.
So at the present time, I have a LibreCAD 1.0.0rc2 installation with a 1.0.0rc1 version of LibreCAD.exe, with a cross hair that's back to normal and a working Help Manual.
I found another work-around for a layer issue I'm experiencing.
I created a template with several layers.
In addition to layer 0, I created:
1
Dimensions
HiddenLines
Text
But I found that each time I opened the drawing, the layer I created last (Text) was the one that was highlighted.
That's not the one I wanted to be highlighted.
I want layer 1 to be highlighted by default each time I open the drawing/template.
So what I did was delete layer 1 and then recreate it. Which means layer 1 is now the last layer I created and it's the one that is highlighted by default when I open the drawing.
I will be releasing RC2 this week for windows because it was only windows that has the issue.
