hash and fill not working in Windows

CHRIS WESTW
This post was updated on .
Hi
I am not able to get any hash and solid fill commands working on my Windows PC. But the exact same process is fine on Mac

So on Windows the LibreCad Command line returns a success message after completing the hash (and it looks fine in Preview box) but I cannot see the hash or fill on the diagram itself. My base attempt was a simple rectangle hash attempt (the Preview was fine so it wasn't an angle etc setting problem)

Is this a known problem please?

By the way. What an amazing app!!!

ps

Here is an image of the problem..... If i click ok the command line says success but the diagram does not show the blue brick hash. Same problem with solid fill and all other hash formats

Regards
Chris

Try a smaller scaling, maybe 0.1.

Thank you.
I did try that. And I tried solid fill.
Same problem in both cases sadly.

I tried to reproduce your problem as far as I could read from your posting and had no trouble. Maybe also a matter general drawing settings, units etc. I can't imagine it works on Mac but not on Windows. What LC version? You may provide a sample file here. More v Upload a file.

Ive downloaded several versions from both both Sourceforge and Github.
Same issue but only on my Windows machine ..not my (daughters) MAC.

Im happy to upload anything or tell you anything to solve this. Im sure your are right though. Im prob doing something in settings or its my Windows implementation. Im new to this App but technically not to bad.

Would you mind telling me how i post the settings other than a lot of images? (i can save the dxf file)

ex1.dxf

this is the image for that file and you can see same problem shows.

thank you for your further input Dellus.

Please check if Draft mode is enabled (on your picture it looks like it is).
In Draft mode the hatches are not visible to speed up the view update although they exist.
Check that View → Draft is not active or type CTRL+D.

Me dumb! Draft is on, of course this must be the reason. How could I not see that.
But there is something wrong with your ex1.dxf, it opens but looks empty, and gives error when tried to open in a different CAD.

@dellus: you are not
I can see the square filled with solid hatches with last build on Ubuntu.

I redownloaded the file and then it was ok. Maybe bad downloads do really happen.
