Dietmar,
I was actually thinking of having some for of a plugin structure within LibreCAD on github where people
can send and merge there code. This way, when persons clone LibreCAD they will automatically get
all available plugins everybody wrote…. random thoughts :)

Hallo Ries,
i am happy about Your response. But I am not suitable for leading a
project, i am a absolute beginner in programming with QT.
It was a big work for me to create an account on github today, it
takes many hours.
Some years ago i wrote something in C (an simulation for CNC-milling
programs) and in PHP, but with C++ i'm not so familiar.
You can see it in my code. But i am disposed to collaborate in such
a projekt.
Excuse my bad english, i have forgotten most of them in last 40
years.
An other thing: it would make me happy, if someone could add some of
my suggestions in the main code. It would release me from changing
the code manually after every git clone.

Dietmar,
that's pretty cool!
I started my own CAM plugins for profiling and pocketing, but
didn't had time to finnish that myself.
There is some new light though since a Libreary is in
development that allows for doing that.
note to myself, may be it's a good idea to start a LibreCAD
plugins project where people can submit code?
And may be a way for plugin naming… just some random
thoughts.

Hallo people,
i am new on this list.
Since 10 years i worked with qcad. Some days ago i tried
librecad, and
now it is my working platform.
By profession i'm a CNC programmer for milling machines.
The "list entities" -plugin give me the idea of writing my
own plugins,
usable like a simple CAM.
The first experiment write lines for milling contours, and
the second
creates bore hole patterns.
See https://github.com/DietmarK/librecad for
more details. The code is
not professional, but it works for me.
The generated CNC-code is for Heidenhain-NC. It can be
modified for
other NC's, such as G-code.
For a better work with librecad i added some modifications
to the code,
see readme-librecad-modified-sources.
Try it out!
I hope it is helpful.
