Thanks for the reference for the definition of "Shadow build". That is not what my change will provide, however, I do see the value in the shadow build concept. I will read up on forking and pulling and give it a try.

I will examine http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3462980&group_id=342582&atid=1433847 to see what I can make sense of it.
