I am new to LibreCAD, and in general am seeking a replacement of AutoCAD LandDesktop/Civil3D for Surveyors.  AutoDesk has abandoned Surveyors and is way too expensive for the functionality that the Suveyor needs.

Ive been a Surveyor for over 30 years, and can say there is no program answering the Surveyors needs in the FOSS arena.

I am hoping this can change.  The "Mortgage Boundary Surveyors" are on a very tight budget, yet have great potential for advancing the GIS world.

I am hoping, to move an effort along with an involvement with LibreCAD.
