Hello Bob,
first thanks for all the activities and the knowhow you put into this project! I saw your videos on YouTube, I saw your manual and I see the discussion and all your work here. Chapeau!

I have a problem because I miss (or do not find) a command in LibreCAD. Hopefully you can help!

I am a machine knitter and am member of a machine knitting group at Yahoo! I plan all my garments with CAD and want to introduce LibreCAD as CAD-Software to the group.

I plan with autocad, but autocad is too expensive for all the group members. So I searched for a free solution and found LibreCAD. I have checked LibreCAD the recent days and found it has generally the ability to do all the needed steps. Perfekt!!

Just miss one thing: with command "scale" you can scale entities with ONE factor in "X" and "Y" dimension. We would need TWO factors: One factor for "X" and one factor for "Y".

The diffficulty comes with the pattern. We have standard patterns and create new patterns. Patterns rough said are a block of black and white cells in a distinct adjustment. It is no difficulty to draw a pattern, build a block and multi-copy it into the garment.

The difficulty comes with the differnt wools and tensions that produce different big meshs (cells). So we have to draw the pattern always new from zero because we cannot scale the mother-pattern from e.g. 1x1mm cells to e.g. 2.456mmx4.328mm cells which is needed for the distinct wool of a project.

This makes the work very uncomfortable and hard. I hope very much that you have a solution for us!

Thanks in advance
