Thanks claus, this will be useful to bring me 'up to speed' on how things are done in LibreCAD.

Its funny because although someone may know about CAD and have used other cad software before - its still the little things with a new program that can slow you down, like how the common procedures are done or where a certain function is etc...

Claus, I think that as you are reasonably familiar with LibreCAD it would be a wonderful thing if you could work on a reference manual for LibreCAD, which could be compiled and added to future releases!

It could include icon reference, what the commands do and sections to guide people about saving, printing etc...
