I'm new to LibreCAD and it has been 15-20 years since I did CAD work, then I used Unigraphics.  

One feature is that I miss is "trim to a Point".  I remember that you could indicate a point and lines would be trimmed to that point, or actually to a theoretical orthoganal line extending from the point to the axis of the lines.
