That technique does not work with SCM Revision: 2.0.4 QT Version: 4.8.6 for linux Ubuntu 15.10.

The copied entities cannot be pasted into the other drawing with Cntl V. LibreCad does not ask for the target point on insert. It asked again for the reference point which makes no sense. If you enter the reference point again, nothing happens except for a request to enter the reference point again.

Tried creating a block and inserting that and no luck.

Scale is exactly the same.
Layer names are exactly the same.
