Zooming in doesn't effect printout.
You could have found the culprit circle easily by just using autozoom, very handy by doubleclick on middle mousebutton or scrollwheel.
It is advisable to move the drawing closer to the origin.  
'center to page' still not working properly after removal of the culprit circle is because autozoom (which probably somehow is used by 'center to page') includes the origin (0,0). This has been eliminated in 2.1 beta so if you save the drawing in a recent LC the issue might be gone.
