Release 2.1.0 sounds great, so I would like to try it out.  I am currently using

LibreCAD
Version: master
SCM Revision: 2.0.9
Compiler: GNU GCC 5.3.1
Qt Version: 5.5.1
Compiled on: Mar 24 2016

However, I have spent a couple of hours this evening just trying, in vain, to download it

The ubuntu software thingy did not help; it only seems to offer the option to un-install my existing LibreCAd.

I clicked on one link that I thought might lead to the “Download” page, but that looked like a Windows version.  There was a link to another download underneath that one, but no explanation of what that download was all about.

I looked on the LibreCAD Ubuntu Installation web-page, but I haven’t a clue what “sudo” is all about.  Do I have to download just one file, or librecad, librecad-data and librecad-doc?

I see there is an announcement in the sub-forum “Anouncements”, but surely this is going to go un-noticed by most LibreCAD users.  In addition, that anouncement tells us that 2.1.0 has been “released”, but there are no instructions for how to download, install, or upgrade an existing version.

Any chance of some non-technical, step-by-step, instructions for those like me, who are not computer-literate?
