Epilog laser cutter

I wish to use LibreCAD to make a drawing and cut a design using an Epilog laser cutter.

The Epilog uses a special printer driver (on Windows) in their attempt to give users easy flexibility across a range of different software tools. If a line is very thin (say 0.001 inches) this line is interpreted as a vector (cut), whereas a thicker line is interpreted as a "filled" area and rastered, say to make a toned laser engraving of an image.

I usually work with LibreCAD on Linux or OSX systems, and transfer files across to the Windows machine at fabrication time.

Is there an easy way to tell LibreCAD to set a line width of 0.001 inches?

At the moment I can use it - but the workflow is not very convenient.

Save a DXF in LibreCAD, open it in Inkscape (which doesn't work very well on OSX), change the line widths in the drawing using Inkscape, print it to a PDF, check that the scale is correct, bring that PDF across to the Windows machine, and "print" it.

I wish there was an easier, convenient way.
Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks!
