Well I've made some progress - I can now do hatching. However, I'm still getting 3 mm & 5 mm when dimensioned, i.e. the objects are actually 3 mm & 5 mm. Making the changes you recommended shouldn't the software convert those values to 3/25.4=0.12" & 5/25.4=0.20"?
