You can also enable snap to middle as on. Then at the top there is a tab that allows you to specify number of middle points. Then you can draw a line in the array direction you want. That line now has the number of middle points as you wanted, equally distributed along it. Then you copy the original entity, and paste by snapping to those middle points one by one. It is not as good as an array feature but up to may be 20-30 points it is not so impractical. each pasting takes about 2-3 seconds. Then you can delete that helper line you made.
