dwg support in LibreCAD is to be considered as experimental only. Not all features are supported. If you have problems use an external tool to convert to dxf 2007, like the Teigha file converter.
The hatching feature in LibreCAD is very unforgiving if the hatches outline is not 100% closed, and imported hatches often fail.
