interestingly i was not getting the "Import error:" dialogue in release 2.2.0-rc2, but having installed 2.2.0-rc3 on top of release 2.2.0-rc2 a few days ago (using the windows installer, as i had with 2.2.0-rc2 on top of an older portable or windows installer version, whose number i dont recall) i do now get this specific "Import error:" dialogue with rc3.  

hoping for some recommendations on how this is fixed whether it is an artifact of an upgrade install to a previous version and whether a fresh install (after deletion of previous version or versions) may or will correct the issue...
