Using X86.dmg on Monterey

Trying to enter a circle, tangent to a line, through 2 points. It works fine on Windows 10, Librecad 2.2.0-rc4 compiled June 7th, 2022

It does not work on my Monterey Mac Librecad 2.2.0-rc4-x86_64

After selecting the command Tangential, 2 points, it prompts me to specify a line/arc/circle. But click as I will, nothing ever gets selected...

Please advise. Thanks.
