LibreCAD seems like really awesome, modern, feature rich software. Very impressive!

But I'm confused as to why 2007 is the latest DXF export version. That's 15 years old (which is about 270 in computer years :P )! This is particularly odd considering DXF seems to be its native save format.

Is there some reason why supporting newer formats is difficult/not possible? Are there perhaps plugins/extensions that can export later versions?

I am concerned that I will run into compatibility issues when using LibreCAD in conjunction with other modern software.
