Funny thing, my computer is set to reload current configuration when I restart after a shutdown, but LC restarts even if I've quit the program before shutdown.  I don't know if this is LC's issue or Debian's.  It's a minor issue, but somehow my system thinks LC is still running even when it's not.  But I've never noticed this with any other program.

BTW, I also notice that the auto-save runs when no changes have been made and even when no document is loaded.  Seems to me a smarter auto-save recognizes when nothing has required saving, this avoids pointless disk writes.
