I understand the frustration of the original poster here.  I have been trying for a couple of hours to get done in libracad what I could do in Autocad in five minutes if I still had access to it.  Specifically I can't get entity selection to work consistently with the trim command  and can't make the text or mtext command to work at all.  I have watched youtube tutorials and my version of Libracad (Version: 2.2.0.2 on Win 10) does not work as shown on these tutorials.  I wish to use the simplest of the 2d drafting tools and I am baffled.  Could do this in my sleep with AutoCad.
