line widths not matching screen to print

Major progress so a thank you is due to everyone who has worked on the print preview - it looks like it shows a much more accurate representation of the line widths.
2 small things though,
In order to mimic what is shown on screen for the print preview vs. the resultant PDF (export especially, but also via Windows PDF Printer), I have to jack up the line thicknesses about 3x as thick.
in this screenshot, the screen view - left, is 0.35mmISO. But the printed PDF - right, is .70mmISO.
Also the dashing is always screwy once it's brought to a PDF. Thoughts?
