Hi.
I know this was years ago but I came across this post looking for answers.
I have been finding it very tedious typing in co-ordinates or equations into the command box.
Finally today I found a better way.
Select your tool such as the rectangle tool, then click on your starting point or enter your starting dimensions and hit enter. Then when prompted for your second point click into the command box then enter "@" first then your X,Y dimensions (i.e. @ 90,80). A rectangle with your desired dimensions is created.
Note you can use the "-" symbol to create the shape in the correct direction assuming that your starting point is now 0,0 on the grid.
