LibreCAD now remembers what was chosen in both states of the Ex toggle.

I eliminated a couple of bugs associated with the Drawings menu;
we will see if it solves your issue.

this perfectly works...  as you dreamed it yourself  ;)

may I take advantage of your good mood to ask for another line to tick
in the App Preference / Default  pane ?
Right under "modify layer of selected entities at layer activation"
you would add "diable snaps while'specify dimension line location shows up"
this will save a lot of clicks when laying dimensions in a densely populated drawing.

PS: the 'Drawings' issue is over, LC always reopens with it and the Tab default choice

Now I have just one other dream : a "snap between points" icon or
shortcut :-)

Nothing new will be added to 2.1.0,
as beta means it's "feature frozen" or "feature complete".
I need to try to make sure it's bug free and write documentation in the next week.
Anything is possible for 2.2.0.
