Hi all!
As a former AutoCAD user who now needs something to use for personal projects at home, I am fairly stoked to be diving into LibreCAD! It seems to be meeting my needs quite well, despite a few bumps in the learning process. I will be using it for things such as land design and layouts, woodworking projects, etc. I am running this on Ubuntu (which has version 2.1.2 as default), but I have also compiled the more recent 2.2.0-rc1, which is a little more intuitive for me to use (Adding the space bar as enter is great! However, selecting something in a large-scale drawing after entering Modify-Properties is painful - I have to zoom in too much to select, and the object snap doesn't seem to work during this process). I feel LibreCAD is an important project, and would love to help out somewhere, despite having no coding experience. Yes, I will go look through the forum to see if there is a place to sign up for something...but any suggestions here would also be appreciated!
