Cannot install LibreCad on my Apple Mac Mini M4 with MacOS Sequoia v15.2

Hello,

newbie here and my first post on the forum, related to a very basic issue: I was trying to install LibreCAD on my new Mac Mini M4 with MacOS Sequoia v15.2 but get the message

"Libre CAD" not opened. Apple could not verify "LibreCAD" is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy.

Is LibreCad not compatibel with MacOS on Apple Silicon MACs or how can it be installed?

Thanks a lot for any help/support !!

To the mods: please move the thread into a different category if I chose the wrong one

Hi,

This is a typical macos security behavior.

Please try to right click(two finger on a touchpad) and choose open.

Following that give permission to open.

If it fails to open still, please go to system settings and find the recent security issues and permission librecad, before trying again.

I was already trying to bypass gatekeepr by using the „right-click and open“ method, which did not work. Checking the security issues and give permissong to open LibreCAD did it finally - thank you very much !!
