Cannot rotate or move object

OK, I select Modify-> move/copy and then select the complete object (Ctrl-A does NOT work nor does any of my Ctrl combinations).  However, I don't know how to move the item(s).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After " Modify-> move/copy" is activated, the CAD toolbar (at the left tool bar area by default) should show "Selection toolbars", and you can find a "Select all" button there, if Ctl-A fails to select all for you.

However, Ctl-A works for me in linux. I found %-A fails in OS/X, and should be fixed.

OK, I did what the YouTube said, but when I press Enter, the cursor now becomes the little arrow and the "Command:" area returns to, well, Command.  Nothing like the video

This version is portable being the one compiled on October 20, 2014.

A lot of the commands/keyboard shortcuts are NOT working at all and this appears to be one of them!

Does that mean I have to find a different portable?  Or can this be ran from my USB flash drive?  I can't install it to my desktop because of security reasons (even home) so need a portable version.

instead of "pressing Enter", you can click on the green Arrow pointing right (to continue), from the left tool bar area.

We would like to give 2.0.7 several weeks of stabilization time before its official release.

Got the nightly build for this.  Works now.  However, you should note that the Enter key  on a keyboard that has a numeric keypad does NOT work - even though they are supposed to do the same thing.  The Enter key over the Shift key does.  

I will find such a keyboard to investigate.
