Change point to cross hair

I would like to make a suggestion in regards to the point.

Since I have used many different types of CAD programs it would be nice to have the pointer change to an adjustable sized cross hair once the pointer crosses over to the drafting window instead of only being available in drafting commands.

Or

Have a cross hair pointer always. Not sure if that would be less coding in general but would be interesting to know.

Also consist cross hair between commands. Example: in the line command the cross hair is extended thin and easily to line up to points and intersections, while the cross hair in the offset command is small and less actuate.

Just some suggestion in regards to crosshair versus a pointer.
