Changing topic status to solved [SOLVED]

How to identify a topic as solved? Changing its name?

I can't speak for this forum as it is powered by 'Nabble' and none of the others I visit are, but if the poster edits their first post on the other forums that I follow, they can usually add [Solved} at the begining of the subject line. I say usually, as there is only a finite amount of character space in a subject line. I am a firm believer in making the subject line as definitive of the problem as possible but you do have to be careful to leave space for the [Solved] addendum.
