Somehow my command line was turned off how do I turn it back on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Widgets -> Dock Widgets -> Command line
Or try toggling the right dock area.

Right-click anywhere on the toolbar over the top of the drawing area. The resulting drop-down menu should contain a line “Command line”. Click on this, to add a tick, and the Command Line should be back.
