Coordinates possibility of not using "@"

cusa123
Something bothers me about it is LibreCAD.
1) Use only coordinates using the mouse and the distance without using the damn @.
2) The language is something a little annoyed that this in English and Spanish all together.

The positive is that it is already quite usable but what bothers me more is mainly point 1.

Spanish A forum would not be bad.

1) The relative syntax (@) is probably used more than the non-relative syntax;
therefore, it does make sense for the relative syntax to be easier to input.
However, I think there still needs to be a way to enter in a non-relative coordinate.

2) We need people to help translate the user interface: http://wiki.librecad.org/index.php/GUI_Translators
LibreCAD is a open source project, we don't have a team of payed translators.

I have considered alternative language sections on the forum; I'm not opposed to it.

@1,2 means relative coordinates (1, 2)

1, 2 without '@' means coordinates (1,2)

I'm not sure I got the question.

This post was updated on .
He does not want to be required to use @ to input a relative point.

Instead of the @ prefix:
what about making a command that toggles relative coordinates?
Or it could be two different commands.
Coordinates are interpreted as relative in one mode and not in the other.

what about:

1 2 for relative (1, 2)
1, 2 for absolute (1,2)

That could work; although, if we make Space an alternative to Enter,
it will be beneficial for switching from Autocad (and it really is convenient).

Hi dxli,

The coordiante use appointed by cusa123 is a keyboard shortcut for polar relative coordinates.

Example to draw a 4 unist square,
In LibeCAD:
line, from point 1,1 to @4<0, to @4<90, @4<180, @4<270 (or close)
In ACAD:
Activate orthogonal mode.
line, from point 1,1 (move cursor to the left) to 4 <enter>(the same as @4<0), (cursor to top) to 4 <enter>,(cursor to right) to 4 <enter>, (cursor to bottom) to 4 <enter>.
That is: line, from point 1,1 to 4, to 4, to 4, to 4 (or close) and movements of mouse

In freehand mode the length are typed and the angle are get from current cursor position relative to "relative zero"
