Is it possible to copy an object from one "DXF" file to another? How you do it?

copy drawing to another file

Hi, how do you copy a drawing, or part of it, into another LibreCad file?
I tried with ctrl+ c and then ctrl+ v , but in the second file it asks me for an insertion point, I click on a point, but then nothing appears

After copying to another document (side by side) My dimensions are way out from one document to the other. I have checked all sources and each document have the same scaling/current drawing preferences/ grid spacing/ etc. What am I missing?
