Deleting Parts of An Imported DXF File

So I imported a file I made for a keyboard switch plate which has outlines that I would like to remove, but to my wits end I cant seem to.

What happens when you click on it? Is then the whole drawing highlighted? Maybe it is a block.
Try Tools - Modify - Explode.
Also check if layers are locked (lock symbol in the Layer List).
