Deleting small intersected areas in a petal shape.

This post was updated on .
I have just got back into learning librecad after several months.

I created an ellipse which has been repeated at 30 degree intervals.  I plan to use it as a template for a glass panel but I do not want the smallest inner "triangles" - therefore I need the closest line of each small triangle facing the centre of the petal to be removed, if that makes sense.

Have tried several things but it is not working.  dxf file attached.  Any suggestions, thanks.

The problem was that some intersection points on the ellipses could not be selected, for some weird reason. I solved this by drawing an Ellipse Arc as part of the original ellipse on a new layer above the petal layer, which worked, and rotated that.
