Dialog boxes not appearing

Boxcabbilly
Just downloaded and started using LibreCAD, but I've used AutoCAD for about 35 years. When I try to use the OFFSET command, the dialog box to specify the offset distance doesn't appear and I can't figure out how to set it. The same thing occurs with the ROTATE/MOVE command. There's no way to enter the angle of rotation. What's going on, and how do I correct it?

well, which version of LC do you use, which OS?

Please note that there is a tool options toolbar (located in top area of main window) - it's context aware for the current action, and allows the user to enter various command-specific options.

Plus, some of options may be entered via command line...  But without version number it's hard to be more specific.

this is screen from 2.2.2 alpha branch, yet it's illustrates areas to explore. In 2.2.1 (production one) - the logic is the same.

I had TOOL OPTIONS on, but that box wasn't there. I tried turning off DEFAULT CUSTOM in the TOOLBARS menu, and that enabled it. I think my issue is resolved.
