Hi Hans-werner
I don`t know the full history about QCAD but basically LibreCAD was forked
from the community Edition of QCAD which is a 'free' version. The other
versions of the QCAD product are 'paid for' versions!
LibreCAD is and always will be a free and open source 2D CAD application
and there will be much improved features etc... in the next version 2.0
release!
We encourage the LibreCAD community to be involved if they wish to with
coding, wiki work and so on,
See here:
http://librecad.org/cms/home/get-involved.htmlCurrently we are working on 'wiki' documentation too and hope to generate
some good pdf manuals, how to`s and general help guides.
Hope this helps
Regards
Clive
