Dimension extension lines fixed lenght and general scale

As it is now, the general scale setting in 'Drawing preferences - Dimensions' does not apply to 'Extension lines - Fixed length'. Does somebody know whether there is a good reason for that (compatibility with Autocad standards, difficult to implement) ?
From a logical point of view it is a matter of dimension lines geometrics scaling as others like arrow size, text height, dimension line gap and so on. It would make it easier to adjust the dimensions for a certain scale for architectural drawings also.
So if there are no reasons against it, this would be something to tackle. But not before solstice. Or Rallaz reappearing. Or a new rallaz. Or...      

This is only a follow up, this is fixed now.
