Dimensions don't work in Windows11 on HP x360 laptop

tomj
New user.  I open a new drawing, draw a rectangle, select a vertical dimension tool, and pick both right-hand corners then a point a few grid lines to the right.  The rectangle is visible, and what looks like another rectangle shows up, but no actual dimensions appear (no arrows or text - just two horizontal and 1 vertical line).  Any ideas?  (P.S. - before posting this, I de-installed LibreCad, then re-installed from SourceForge.  I also verified that I had the latest Win11 updates.)

This is occurring on LibreCad Version:
Version: 2.2.0.2
Compiler: GNU GCC 13.1.0
Compiled on: Jul 29 2023
Qt Version: 5.12.11
Boost Version: 1.75.0
System: Windows 10 (10.0)

I'm assuming there is something in Win11 that is causing a problem.  Here's the device info:
Device name hp-pavilion-2020
Processor        Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10210U CPU @ 1.60GHz   2.11 GHz
Installed RAM 12.0 GB (11.8 GB usable)
Device ID        91418450-B885-4D7B-A663-52DB89188AD1
Product ID        00325-81779-02018-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch Pen and touch support with 10 touch points

Here's the system info:
Edition        Windows 11 Home
Version        22H2
Installed on ‎9/‎22/‎2022
OS build        22621.3880
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1020.0

Looks like a problem with settings in Options - Current Drawing Preferences - Dimensions.
Zoom in very close to where the arrows and text should be, they probably are there, just very tiny.

Or your rectangle is very large, (you may have zoomed out very much when playing around) so in comparison arrows and text appear very small. You can check a distance with Tools - Info - Distance point to point.

You were absolutely correct.  I would have never found this by myself, and had just assumed that the default values would have worked "out of the box". Oh well...live and learn.

The "out of the box" settings work well for let's say units mm, intended printing scale 1:1, sheet size A4.
For other scenarios the dimension settings are likely to have to be adjusted. Best study the manual...
