Printer Settings

claytoncarney
Every time I print, this pops up:

Don't understand. Drawing and Printer dimensions are exactly the same. Does not matter whether I chose Yes or No. This dialog appears every time I print.

What's wrong here?

This was fixed in 2.2.1_rc and later.

Still doesn't seem to work as expected...

Re: Printer Settings

Sorry, I was mistaking. The fix was in 2.2.2, not 2.2.1_rc

I have backported the fix to 2.2.1_rc, so 2.2.1_rc3-7 should have the fix

Re: Printer Settings

Version: 2.2.0.2
Compiler: GNU GCC 13.1.0
Compiled on: Jul 29 2023
Qt Version: 5.12.11
Boost Version: 1.75.0
System: Windows 10 (10.0)

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but this is still displayed every time:

The first time after selecting Yes, the Drawing settings size was only 4 decimal places. Manually changed to 5 places, but issue persists.

The only obvious difference is Custom vs Letter. The size in the Printer settings don't make sense for standard Letter paper.

The fix is now in 2.2.1_rc, but the version number you supplied is 2.2.0.2

Re: Printer Settings

Apologies. Clicked the wrong version.

Version: 2.2.1_rc3-7-g29edbf9b
Compiler: GNU GCC 12.2.0
Compiled on: Jul 20 2024
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Boost Version: 1.75.0
System: Windows 10 Version 2009

Still the same results as previously reported. Don't understand where those strange printer settings are coming from.

Re: Printer Settings

Could you share a drawing to show this issue?

Just in case, are you specifying the dpi?

This post was updated on .
1811_solano_inch.dxf

I am not aware of a way to specify dpi.

Re: Printer Settings

Thanks a lot for your testing. It's indeed a bug in our previous fix.

A new fix is now in 2.2.2-alpha and 2.2.1_rc3-8

Unfortunately, still...

Again, the only difference appears to be the name of the size.

Re: Printer Settings

claytoncarney
rc3-8 regression...

Now the scale (print preview tools options) keeps changing, even though fixed is checked. This was not happening in 2.2.0.2.
