Dimensions

Hello everybody.
I'm new on this forum. My name is Roberto Fabbri.
I have problems with the dimensions: I followed the instruction manual, but the only result I had above the line with the two arrows is an empty rectangle without any text inside.
What I'm mistaking?

I had the same problem, and I switched the Draft mode and I could see the dimensions number

I was struggling with this problem since a long time and you have no idea of the relief I'm feeling.
As you can imagine a draw without dimensions is totally unusefull.
