Drawing Error

Rick Ratzlaff
I don't think my LC used to do this.

I ask it to draw a line 48 units (inches) and it always comes us in dimensions as 4 13/16

I get the "4". Why the 13/16.

That's going on?

A sample would help.

I don't know how to provide a sample. But it's pretty simple.

I draw a line 0,0 to 48,0. or a rectangle 0,0 to .75,48.

When I run a dimension on it it comes up 4 13/16. Which I suppose is 4 feet?

In the tray at the bottom it says 48.

It's difficult to say what's the reason if I can't examine your drawing and it's settings. You might have a strange value in the drawing preferences - dimensions - length factor tab, different than 1, a little larger. Or your snap catches a wrong point when dimensioning.
How to provide a sample: When writing a message here in the forum, there is "More v"-"Upload a file". So you can draw that line, add a dimension to it, save it as sample.dxf and upload that file.
