Drawing horizontal or vertical lines does not draw the line.

To draw a horizontal or vertical line from a point to a line:

Select line - Horizontal (or vertical)
select the first point of the line
select the horizontal (vertical) point on the target line where you want your line to end
Select line - 2 points
select the last point you selected (the one on the target line)
select the first point you chose
select escape to get out of line mode
