I have useful feature suggestion: selection box when selecting overlapping items. I've see it on newer auto$ and rhino. When you try to select two overlapping objects little selection box with names shows and when you highlight with mouse object name (type?) on the list such object is highlighted on viewport.
It's really useful when with lots of overlapping objects e.g. maps etc.
