Dimensioned rulers

I have found LC a pretty useful CAD package for linux.  

One feature that I would find particularly useful would be horizontal and vertical rulers (along the page) that are dimensioned per the scale chosen.  I only use CAD occasionally, but it seems to me that this feature was in a version of AutoSketch that I used many years ago.  It certainly helped in drawing.  Ideally, the feature could be turned on or off depending on the users need for it.

I read coordinates in numbers instead of by rulers.

I agree.  Without rulers, the origin is difficult to find and the drawing "floats" in space without scale.  If you want to place a one inch square box two inches up and to the right of your drawing, rulers make it much easier.  They also provide a reference for the grid.

I also agree!  Having a ruler is a must for me.  Currently I use TurboCAD 2D.  I can create a layer for measurements.  I can port those drawings to LibreCAD and they look great!  However, if I change the measurement of anything, I can't re-measure properly!  I'm in the process of moving to Linux and this is a stumbling block for me.
