I just joined the forum and am new to LibreCAD.  I'm a new-be CAD user and am here to learn about LibreCAD so I can use it in a home remodeling project.

Welcome, I'm a long tine cad user and designer/drafter and find this cad system to be very useable, and the admins are really great about getting your questions taken care of....I just finished my first test project with this and yea, I had to change the way I was used to doing things but as I went along I actually started seeing why they did it the way they did and ended up changing for the better.

Jump right in...under edit menu/change drawing preferences
change your units to inches first off
select architectural
select deg, min, sec
